Kek Batik Cheese (Batik Cake with Cheese Topping)

 Why not give special cheesy touch to Batik Cake.... such a lovely combination and well received by office colleague during breakfast treat just a day before Ramadhan last week.

Size: 8" square
INGREDIENTS:
50g Cocoa powder
100g Milo
100g Sugar
200ml Water
100g Butter
2 Eggs
400g Marie Biscuits - break them into smaller pieces

METHOD:
1. Place cocoa powder, milo, sugar & water in a wok.
Stir above medium fire until dissolved & smooth.
2. Add in butter until dissolved.
3. Reduce heat to low & add in egg & stir until thicken about 30 seconds and off the fire.
4. Add in biscuits & mix well until biscuits are evenly coated with chocolate batter.
5. Press into a lined tin. 

CHEESE TOPPING:
250g Cream Cheese
1 Egg
2 tbsp Caster Sugar (I used 1/4 cup)
- Beat all ingredients until smooth & pour onto the prepared Batik Cake.
- Bake 160C (top heat only) for 5 minutes.
- Chill before slicing.

BAHAN2:
50g Serbuk Koko
100g Milo
100g Gula Pasir
200ml Air
100g Mentega
2 bj Telur
400g Biskut Marie - patah2kan 

CARA2:
1. Campurkan koko, milo, gula & air ke dlm kuali.
Masak dgn api yg sederhana, kacau sehingga larut.
2. Masukkan mentega sehingga larut.
3. Kecilkan api, masukkan telur & kacau sehingga pekat dalam 30 saat & padamkan api.
4. Masukkan biskut dan gaul sehingga rata dan biskut di saluti sepenuhnya.
5. Padatkan ke dlm loyang yg di alas dgn kertas aluminium. 

LAPISAN CHEESE:
250g Cream Cheese
1 bj Telur GredA
2 sb Gula Halus (Along guna 1/4 cwn) 
- Putar kesemua bahan sehingga kembang & tuangkan ke atas kek batik tadi.
- Bakar 160C (api atas shj) selama 5 minit.
- Sejukkan di dlm petisejuk sebelum di potong/hidangkan.

 This delicate categorised locally as "Kuih Talam" [Talam is literally translated as tray and kuih is Malay steamed cake i.e. the combined words means steamed Malay cake and typically made in two/more layers of different ingredients combined to produce succulent bites]. This particular one has fragrant Malacca palm sugar flavour with silky texture on top layer and matched with bottom layer of springy plain sago coconut layer.... I love every bite of it...!

The portion is halved from the original recipe
Yields 8" square
BOTTOM LAYER:
150g Sago - rinse & soak 30 minutes then drained 
30g SooHoon - soak in warm water 30 minutes then drained  & cut into short strips 
50g Freshly Grated Coconut
50ml Coconut Milk
150ml Water
1/2 tsp Salt
TOP LAYER:
100g Malacca Palm Sugar*
50g Malay Brown Sugar*
25g Sugar*
250ml Water*
1 Screwpine Leaf*
75g Flour
1/2 tbsp Cornflour
1 Egg
125ml Coconut Milk
1/4 tsp Salt

METHOD:
1. Combine all bottom ingredients and place in a lined tin.
Steam 30 minutes.
Press surface lightly to ensure even layer.
2.  Combine ingredients marked* and stir on fire until sugar is dissolved.
Cool slightly.
3. Combine all bottom layer ingredients and heat up slightly.
4. Pour onto the first layer and steam 30 minutes.
5. Cool kuih completely at room temperature before slicing

LAPISAN ATAS:
100g Gula Melaka*

25g Gula*
250ml Air*
1 helai Daun Pandan*
75g Tpg Gandum
1/2 sb Tpg Jagung
1 bj Telur
125ml Santan
1/4 st Garam

CARA2:
1. Satukan kesemua bahan2 lapisan bawah & ratakan ke dlm tin yg di lapik.
Kukus 30 minit.
Tekan permukaan supaya rata.
2. Satukan bahan2 yg di tanda* & masak sehingga gula larut.
Sejukkan sebentar.
3. Campurkan kesemua bhn2 lapisan bawah & masak sehingga naik wap.
4. Tuangkan ke atas lapisan bawah tadi & kukus selama 30 minit.
5. Sejukkan kuih sebelum di potong.

 This is my emak's favourite dish... I thought it is such a simple one but seems not the case. When my emak fell sick few months ago, she craved for this dish but no one managed to cook it right until I came home and cooked it for her. It is also important to get the sweet and spicy taste balanced.

INGREDIENTS:
2 pcs Bean Curds - cut into smaller cubes 
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Big Onion*
2 Red Chilies*
2 cloves Garlic*
1 slice Ginger* (* blend) 
3 tbsp Chili paste
3 tbsp Chili Sauce
1 tbsp Sugar
Salt

METHOD:
1. Rub bean curds with salt & turmeric powder.
Deep fry until slightly firm.
2. Heat up 1/4 cup oil & stir-fry blended ingredients* and chili paste until fragrant.
Add in chili sauce, sugar, salt & mix well.
Add in fried bean curds and stir until well coated.
3. Serve with white rice.

CARA2:
1. Gaul tahu dgn garam & serbuk kunyit.
Goreng sehingga agak keperangan.
2. Panaskan 1/4 cwn minyak & tumis bhn2 blend* dan cili mesin sehingga wangi.
Masukkan sos cili gula, garam & kacau sebati.
Masukkan tahu goreng & gaul sebati.
3. Hidangkan dgn nasi putih.

Yields about 50 pieces
INGREDIENTS:
250g Glutinous Flour
2-3 tbsp Coconut Milk Powder
1 tbsp Pandan Paste
Water
Malacca Palm Sugar
- chopped into small cubes

Freshly Grated Coconut + a pinch of salt - steam 1 minute in microwave

METHOD:
1. Mix glutinous flour, coconut milk powder, pandan paste, a pinch of salt and enough water to formsoft firm dough.

Divide dough into small balls of a marble size.
 
2. Fill each ball with a piece of palm sugar & wrap it firmly.

3. Boil water, half fullin a pot.
Drop Buah Melaka into the boiling water & let it float to the surface.
Lift out & roll onto desicated coconut.
4. Cool them slightly before serve.

Do not consume while they are hot because the melted sugar filling can burn your tongue.

Kuih yg wajib di bulan Ramadhan.... memang syok makan kuih ni selepas berbuka untuk menghilangkan pahit mulut.... kuih yg kenyal2 manja dan inti gula melaka yg cair memang mengasyikkan... berpuluh biji pun boleh ngap sorang2 kalau buat comel2 camni....hehehe.

BAHAN2:
250g Tepung Pulut
2-3 sb Santan Serbuk

1 sb Pandan Paste
Air
Gula Melaka
- potong kecil2

Kelapa Parut + secubit garam- kukus 1 minute dlm microwave

CARA2:
1. Campurkan tepung pulut, santan serbuk, pandan paste, garam dan air secukup nya sehingga mendapat doh yg lembut.

Bahagikan doh kepada guli2 kecil spt gambarajah di bawah.
 
2. Isikan geguli tepung dgn gula melaka & bulatkan supaya kemas.

3. Panaskan 1/2 periuk air sehingga mendidih.
Masukkan Buah Melaka & rebus sehingga ia timbul ke permukaan.
Angakt & golekkan ke atas kelapa parut.
4. Biar sejuk sedikit sebelum di hidangkan kerana isi gula melaka yg panas boleh melebur lidah anda.

 Simple fried fish but with such a simple touch will lure greater appetite.... Fragrant fried onion, chilies to spice it up and added curry and kaffir lime leaves aroma!

INGREDIENTS:
1 Whole Seabass
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Big Onion
Vietnam Chili Padi
Curry Leaves
Kaffir Lime Leaves
1 tbsp Fish Sauce / Nampla
Salt

METHOD:
1. Rub fish with salt & turmeric powder.
Deep fry until crispy on the outside.
Lift & place in a plate.
2. Using another clean wok, heat few tbsp oil & stir-fry sliced onion, chilies, curry leaves & kaffir lime leaves until fragrant.
Sprinkle fish sauce & stir quickly.
Pour onto fried fish.
3. Serve immediately with white rice.

Angkat & letakkan ke dlm pinggan hidangan.
2. Di dlm kuali lain, panaskan beberapa sudu minyak & goreng hirisan bawang, cili, daun kari & daun limau purut sehingga wangi.
Renjiskan sos ikan & kacau segera.
Taburkan ke atas ikan goreng tadi.

Palm shoot is very commonly sold in daily market in Miri, Sarawak especially served during local wedding occasions or other gatherings. I rarely cooked it myself but I like the simple and crunchy taste and usually the menu that I picked up when patronizing the local restaurants.

INGREDIENTS:
1 pack Palm Shoot (sold at RM2) 
1 Red Chili*
3 Shallots*
1 handful Ikan Bilis / Anchovies (* pounded) 
1 bowl of Coconut Milk
Salt

METHOD:
1. Boil sliced palm shoot until tender & drain.
2. Place in a pot with rest of ingredients and boil.
3. Serve with white rice.

Freshing up with Kiwi Fruit Juice..... home-made and freshly squeezed....

INGREDIENTS:
3 Kiwi Fruits
Water
Sugar Syrup
Ice cubes

METHOD:
1. Peel kiwi fruits, cut and place in blender with some water.
Blend until fine.
2. Mix kiwi puree with sufficient water and sugar syrup to taste.
Add in some ice cubes & serve!

 I'm please to share herewith another pudding/jelly creation from my kitchen corner..... after a series of popular pudding in the past like Milo & Oreo Pudding, Cheese Pudding, Horlicks Pudding and many more..... I promise you that this is another delicious worth trying pudding! It is surely will impress your guests with rich layer of milo pudding and a surprise biscuits layer at the bottom.

Size: 8" square
INGREDIENTS:
1 packet / 13g Agar-Agar or Jelly Powder
1100ml Water
220g Sugar
1 can / 400g Ideal Milk*
1 small Egg* (* combine) 
(Note: You can skip the egg if you like but will make it less rich) 
1 cup Milo Powder
1 tbsp Cocoa Powder
150g Salted Cheese Biscuits / Marie Biscuits

METHOD:
1. Dissolve jelly powder in water & boil.
Add in sugar and stir to dissolve.
Add in milk & egg mixture.
Add in milo & cocoa powder.
Stir until well mixed.
2. Arrange a layer of biscuits in a container.
Pour in thin jelly mixture, just enough to cover the biscuits.
Repeat process until all biscuits and pudding mixture is used up.
Biscuits will eventually float to the surface.
3. Cool at room temperaure until pudding is set.
Chill in fridge.

CARA2:
1. Larutkan serbuk agar kedlm air & masak sehingga mendidih.
Masukka gula & kacau sehingga larut.
Masukkan campuran susu & telur & kacau sebati.
Masukkan milo & serbuk koko & kacau sehingga larut.
2. Susun satu lapisan biskut ke dalam bekas.
Tuangkan satu lapisan agar2 cukup untuk meliputi biskut tersbut.
Ulangi proses melapis biskut & agar2 sehingga habis.
Lapisan biskut akan timbul ke permukaan bila selesai melapis.
3. Sejukkan di suhu bilik sebelum di sejukkan dalam peti-sejuk.

 Hoorey....! My first Raya cookies for this year! I was attracted by it's name & the recipe called for condensed milk as main ingredients. It look little bit hard before I tasted it but to my surprise it is really soft and melt in the mouth with nice strong milky aroma.... Liana had dozen of them right after it came out from the oven....LOL. However, I think she deserves it because she put some effort too.... she helped me to place the red cherries on top of the cookies and was excited that she had a role too.

Yields ~150 pcs
INGREDIENTS:
250g Butter
1/2 can Condensed Milk
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
1 tbsp Caster Sugar
100g Tapioca Flour*
400g Cornflour*
1/2 cup Plain Flour* (* sift) 

METHOD:
1. Cream butter together with milk and sugar.
2. Add in flur gradually until dough is formed.
3. Press dough using Carnation presser.
4. Bake 150C for 10-11 minutes.
5. Cool at room temperature before storing in air tight container.

1. Pukul mentega dgn susu & gula sehingga sebati (tak perlu pukul lama2).
2. Campurkan tepung sedikit2 sehingga rata.
3. Picitkan dgn acuan dahlia.
4. Bakar 150C selama 10-11 minit.
5. Sejukkan sebelum di simpan dlm bekas kedap udara.

Snow Almond Cookies (Biskut Snow Almond)

 Tried something new for this year Idh.... recipe taken from Chef Zubaidah's book.

Yields >110pieces
INGREDIENTS:
260g Butter
150g Castor Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
50g Ground Almond
300g Flour
50g Custard Powder
50g Milk Powder
40f Cornflour
Coating: Cooking Chocolate, White Breadcrumbs

METHOD:
1. Cream butter, sugar and vanilla essence until creamy.
Add in rest of ingredients and mix to form dough.
2. Roll the dough flat and cut using cookie cutter.
3. Bake 140C for 18-20 minutes until golden.
4. Cool cookies and dip cookies into melted chocolate and roll in breadcrumbs.
5. Keep in airtight container after the chocolate is set & dry.

 
Ready for baking

CARA2:
1. Pukul butter, gula & EV sehingga sebati.
Masukkan kesemua bahan2 lain sehingga terbentuk doh.
2. Canai & terap.
3. Bakar 140C selama 18-20 minit sehingga keperangan.
4. Sejukkan biskut & celup ke dlm coklat yg di cairkan.
Golekkan ke dlm breadcrumbs.
5. Simpan dlm bekas kedap udara selepas coklat membeku.


Cornflakes Cookies (Again)

 This is favourite cookies in the house and will sure make every year for Idh based on demand.... My children all love the crunchy and tasty cornflakes coated with melt in the mouth cookies. As for me, I like making it with no fuss to mould it like any other cookies.

 Recipe was posted here and here before.

Biskut ni kegemaran se isi keluarga kami..... nak buat pun mudah, nak makan pun sedap.... sekali hadap boleh habis satu bekas. Terutama nya AngahRuz and Liana.... sekali makan 10 biji pun tak cukup.... LOL.... nama nya pun raya kan, Along suka bila anak2 enjoy makan apa yg Along buatkan. Dah habis licin pun dah.... ada lebih2 sikit tu, Along pack untuk AngahRuz bawa balik KL esuk.

Baked Wrapped Pomfret (Pais Bawal)

 Sometimes pomfret sold in market is not so fresh.... turning them into "Pais" i.e. wrapped with spicy coconut will make it tastier.....

Ikan bawal di panggang secara pais amat sedap sekali walau pun jika ikan nya kurang segar, tetap sedap.... Along guna parutan kelapa yg agak muda jadi lebih sedap bumbu nya.

Chicken Nugget in Black Pepper Sauce

 Chicken dishes will always be a repertoire in my house.... especially this particular one.... bite size chicken meat coated with spiced flour, fried to just right crispiness to ensure tenderness and juicy inside then served with favourite sweet sour black pepper sauce!.... specially cooked to please my three hungry boys....LOL!

INGREDIENTS:
1 Chicken Breast - cut to bite size 
4 tbsp Flour + ½ tbsp Curry Powder
3 cloves Garlic - pounded 
3-5 Green Chilies*
1 Big Onion*
2" Ginger* (* sliced) 
5 Kaffir Lime Leaves - shredded 
1 tbsp HoiSin Sauce
1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
1 tbsp Black Pepper Sauce
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Cornflour + 2 tbsp water
1 Tomato - cubed 
Salt, Sugar

METHOD:
1. Rub chicken pieces with salt and flour mixture.
Deep fry until cooked & crispy on the outside.
Keep aside.
2. Heat up some oil & stir fry pounded garlic until fragrant.
Add in sliced ingredients*, lime leaves and stir until fragrant.
Add in all types of sauce, ½ cup water, salt & sugar. Let it boil.
Add in tomato & cornflour paste.
Cook several minutes until sauce is thicken.
3. Pour sauce over the fried chicken pieces.
Serve with rice immediately.

Anak2 Along makan lauk ayam setiap hari pun takpa & tak jemu2.... tambahan pula bila ada AlongRiz bercuti yang tak pandai makan selain ayam.... AlongRiz pun dah kembali semula ke Pennsylvania, USA beberapa hari lepas.... ni lauk tayangan lewat.

Memang gembira betul anak2 Along 3 org tu bila Along masak lauk macam ni.... ayam nya mudah nak makan sebab di potong kecil dan di goreng rangup dengan perisa rempah.... dan di gandingkan dgn kuah black pepper yg pedas, masam dan manis.... memang sedap!

BAHAN2:
1 ketul besar Dada Ayam - di potong kecil
4 sb Tepung + ½ sb Serbuk Rempah Kari
3 ulas Bwg putih - di tumbuk
3-5 biji Cili Hijau*
1 bj Bwg Besar*
2" Halia* (* hiris) 
5 helai Daun Limau Purut - di koyak2
1 sb Sos HoiSin
1 sb Sos Oyster
1 sb Sos Black Pepper
2 sb Kicap
1 sb Tepung Jagung + 2 sb Air
1 bj Tomato - potong dadu
Garam, Gula

CARA2:
1. Lumur ayam dgn garam dan campuran tepung.
Goreng sehingga masak dan rangup luaran nya.
Ketepikan dahulu.
2. Panaskan sedikit minyak & tumis bwg putih sehingga wangi.
Masukkan bahan2 yg di hiris*, daun limau dan kacau sehingga wangi.
Masukkan kesemua sos, ½ cwn air, garam & gula.
Kacau sehingga mendidih.
Masukkan tomato & bancuhan tepung jagung.
Masak sehingga kuah nya pekat.
3. Tuang sos ke atas ayam yg telah di goreng tadi.
Hidangkan dengan nasi putih dengan segera.

Mango Pudding (Puding Mangga Lemak Harum)

 Another jelly creation from me.... this looks simple but truely delicious and mouth watering! I made it to serve my sons' friends during Idh open house. I had last batch of mangoes from our tree and wanted the jelly to be creamy so I added coconut milk to the jelly mixture.... it was surprisingly blended well with pureed mango and truely delicious... in fact I gave compliment to my own self that this is the most delicious mango pudding that I ever had....LOL! The guests gave thumbs up while slowly indulging into the smooth and cold dessert!

The mango I used is very sweet, so adjust the sugar to your taste depending on sweetness of the mango that you use.

INGREDIENTS:
1 packet (13g) Jelly Powder
1100ml Water
230g Sugar
200ml packet Coconut Cream*
1 Egg* (* blend) 
1 cup Mango Flesh - pureed with 1 cup water 
1 cup Chopped Mango

METHOD:
1. Boil jelly powder and water until dissolved.
Add in sugar & stir to dissolve.
Add in pureed mango and coconut cream mixture*.
Stir few more minutes until well mixed.
2. Sprinkle chopped mango in a mould.
Pour the jelly mixture and let is set at room temperature.
3. Serve chilled.

BAHASA MALAYSIA VERSION
 Satu lagi rekaan agar-agar atau puding yang Along nak kongsikan di sini. Ini bukan alang-alang puding mangga biasa tau.... ia nya amat harum lemak manis berperisa.... Along buatkan ni dengan secara kebetulan sahaja. Anak2 Along ajak kawan2 datang beraya ke rumah dan kebetulan ada buah mangga dlm petisejuk dan Along bayangkan puding yang lemak berkrim jadi Along masukkan santan kedalam masakan agar2 tu.... tak sangka ia nya amat sedap sekali. Kekawan bebudak tu semua nya puji tak henti2..... alhamdulillah.

Buah mangga yg Along guna ni manis, so adjust ler gula tu ikut selera anda ya.

BAHAN2:
1 bungkus (13g) Serbuk Agar-Agar
1100ml Air
230g Gula
200ml peket Santan*
1 bj Telur* (* blend) 
1 cwn Isi Mangga - blend dgn 1 cwn air
1 cwn Isi Mangga - potong dadu 

CARA2:
1. Masak serbuk agar-agar dgn air sehingga larut.
Masukkan gula & kacau sehingga gula larut.
Masukkan puri isi mangga dan campuran santan*, kacau sebati.
2. Tabur isi mangga yg di dadukan ke dlm acuan.
Tuangkan masakan agar-agar ke atas nya dan biarkan beku di suhu bilik.
Sejukkan di dlm petisejuk sebelum di hidangkan.


Black Glutinous Rice Dessert made in Noxxa Cooker (Bubur Pulut Hitam)

 Slowly clearing my late entries..... this was made about a month ago during Ramadhan.... nothing special, just a repeat menu but want to share my new toy - Noxxa Multi Pressure Cooker! Ever since I bought this two months ago, it has been put into full use almost everyday! It is very convenience to use and I can throw away many of my other posts namely my conventional AMC pressure cooker (although this costs 10X more expensive), my slow cooker, my Le Gourmet cast iron pots, my electric multi-cooker, my collection of non-stick pots and many more! Thanks sis Hanifah for promoting this and helped me to purchase from her membership.

Cooking black glutinous rice only takes 20 minutes instead of hours boiling in conventional pot, without pre-soaking is necessary. The pot is non-stick and the cover is easily detached making cleaning job is just a breath.

Working mum like me will love this kind of equipment.... soon after I get home, I just threw meat/chicken into it, set the timer, went upstairs for shower & the dish is ready when I returned to kitchen later. I can also keep it in there for whole day and the food remains warm (very important as I do not like consuming cold food).

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup Black Glutinous Rice
1 bowl Coconut Milk
Sugar to taste
1 Screwpine Leaf
½ tsp Salt

METHOD:
1. Wash & boil glutinous rice in Noxxa using High Pressure 20 minutes, until soft.
2. Add in coconut milk, sugar, salt & screwpine leaf.
Set to steam and cook for 5 minutes.
3. Serve hot or warm.

BAHASA MALAYSIA VERSION
Panjang lak terbebel in BI tadi.... secara ringkas nya, memasak Bubur Pulut Hitam menggunakan periuk Noxxa ni amat mudah dan cepat. Bubur dah siap hanya dalam masa 30 minit dan rasa nya pun manis enak.

Meh tengok camna nak masak bubur ni dalam periuk Noxxa. Kalau takda periuk Noxxa, boleh buat bubur ni dlm periuk biasa seperti di sini.

BAHAN2: 
1 cwn Pulut Hitam 
1 mangkuk Santan
 Gula secukup rasa
 1 helai Daun Pandan
 ½ st Garam

CARA2:
1. Basuh pulut hitam dan rebus dlm periuk Noxxa High Pressure 20 minit sehingga empuk.
2. Masukkan santan, gula, garam dan daun pandan.
Tutup dan set Steam 5 minit.
3. Siap untuk di hidangkan.

 I love this tasty Baked Macaroni.... so did all the guests... I made this in two separate occassions and received many compliments for it! One time was served during Iftar with relatives and the second time was during Hari Raya open house for my boys' friends.

Serve: 10 persons
Size: 10"x14" / 12"x16"
INGREDIENTS:
500g Macaroni - boil until ala dente 
5 Shallots*
3 clove Garlic*
½" Ginger*
1 tbsp Black Pepper*
(* pounded) 
3 tbsp Curry Powder
500g Minced Meat/Chicken
1 can Evaporated Milk + 1 can Water
4 Eggs - slightly beaten 
½ tsp Sugar
Salt
For sprinkle on top - chopped Chinese Celery, Spring Onions, Red Chilies, Fried Onions, Grated Cheese

METHOD:
1. Heat up some oil & stir-fry pounded ingredients* until fragrant.
Add in meat, sugar, salt & stir until cooked.
Off the heat.
Add in macaroni, milk, water (optional + grated cheese).
2. Pour macaroni into a casserole.
Sprinkle beaten egg on top followed by ingredients for sprinkle.
3. Bake 180C for 30-40 minutes.

NOTE:
Optionally can add chopped mushroom, capsicum & tomato.

Along hidangkan sewaktu Iftar dengan saudara hubby dan buat sekali lagi untuk di hidangkan kepada kekawan anak2 sewaktu Raya open house. Along sendiri pun suka sangat sebab moist & lazat. Hidangan utk 10 oran
Saiz bekas: 10"x14" / 12"x16"
BAHAN2:
500g Macaroni - direbus sehingga lembut ala dente 
5 biji Bawang Merah*
3 biji Bawang Putih*
½" Halia*
1 sb Lada Hitam*
(* ditumbuk) 
3 sb Rempah Kari 500g Daging/Ayam Kisar
1 tin Susu Cair + 1 tin Air
4 biji Telur
- dipukul sedikit 
½ sk Gula
Garam
Bahan Tabur - Daun Sup, Daun Bawang, Bwg Goreng, hirisan Cili Merah, keju parut/slice

CARA2:
1. Tumis bahan tumbuk* dan rempah hingga naik bau.
Masukkan daging kisar, gula, garam dan goreng hingga masak. 
Padamkan api.
Masukkan & gaul rata macaroni, susu cair & air (optional + cheddar cheese parut).
2. Tuangkan makaroni ke dalam bekas kaserol.

Tuang telur rata2 ke atas permukaan macaroni & tabur bahan2 taburan.
3. Bakar 180C selama 30-40 minit.

NOTA:
Boleh juga letak mushroom, capsicum dan tomato yang dipotong dadu jika suka.





Baked Mung Bean Kuih (Bingka Kacang Hijau)

 This is my favourite & I ate most of it by myself.... packed some for AngahRuz to bring back to KL, Liana & hubby ate some and UsuRaz coundn't bother.... I enjoyed every bite of it and took me days before I can clear all the remainings.

The taste is lovely.... rich with green beans taste and moderate sweetness.... I didn't regret I got to eat most of them....LOL!

I used the recipe from the Red Bean Kuih from here.

Size: 8": square
INGREDIENTS:
1½ cup boiled Green/Mung Beans*
1 cup Water*(* blend till fine) 
1½cup Flour
½cup Rice Flour
2
cup Coconut Milk
1
cup Sugar
3 tbsp Butter
2 Eggs
½ tsp Salt
1 tsp Green Colour
Sesame Seeds
- for sprinkling (I skipped)

METHOD: 
1. Blender all ingredients except sesame seeds until fine and well mixed.
Stir above small fire for about 5 minutes until slightly thicken.
2. Oil the tin & heat up in oven for 5 minutes.
3. Pour the batter & sprinkle sesame seeds.
Bake at 180C for 60 minutes or until cooked.
4. Cool completely before slicing.

 Along memang suka sangat makan bingka kacang, tak kira lah kacang merah ke hijau. Takda gang nak makan sebab AngahRuz je yg pandai makan kuih2 bingka ni. UsuRaz pandang pun takmo. Nasib sempat pack sikit untuk AngahRuz bawa balik KL. Lebih nya hubby & Liana makan sedikit dan Along lah yg habiskan sedikit2 hari demi hari.... tapi tak jemu makan ni.

Saiz: 8" persegi
BAHAN2:
1½ cwn Kacang Hijau* (yg telah di rebus) 
1 cwn Air*(* di kisar bersama) 
1½ cwn Tepung Gandum
½ cwn Tepung Beras
2 cwn Santan
1 cwn Gula
3 sb Butter
2 biji Telur
½ st Garam
1 st Pewarna Hijau
sedikit Bijan
- utk tabur (Along tak letak)

CARA2:
1. Kisar kesemua bahan di dalam blender kecuali bijan sehingga sebati.
Masak sebentar sehingga berwap guna api kecil selama 5 minit.
2. Panaskan oven 180C, sapukan minyak di sekeliling loyang dan masukkan dlm oven sebentar.
3. Keluarkan loyang dan tuang adunan tepung tadi dan taburkan bijan di atasnya.
Bakar selama 60 minit atau sehingga masak.
4. Biarkan betul2 sejuk barulah di potong.



Delicious Apple cake (Again)

 Made this delicious cake again and this time was for colleague in the office..... very good feedback from everyone and they agreed indeed it was delicious.... moist cake with surprise chunky apples in it makes it tastes almost like apple pies! One of my colleague, Chai said it is even better than the apple pie that I made before....LOL!
